Chapter one introduces you to Jane and her surroundings, and the subsequent chapters fill in all the information needed to unravel the mystery surrounding the parlor. Once she escapes, she needs to find out who's been placing the recipes in there, which is where she gets out of trouble again. One of these items, a book that holds several hidden recipes, allows her to escape. In an effort to get out, she uses a few special items that have been tucked away in her dad's safe. What happens next is that she ends up trapped inside while the clockwork magician keeps on repeating the same phrase over again. To start the story, Jane must enter the parlor in order to retrieve her lost father's watch.
